Planning help requested! Typhoon Lagoon then US/IoA?

I'm trying to figure out if it's doable to go to Typhoon Lagoon (or Blizzard Beach, if for some reason TL isn't reopened yet) at opening at 10:00am, then go to Universal and IoA around 2:00/3:00 in the afternoon. This would be during Easter week, so I would expect big crowds at US/IoA, right? We are not staying on property, but can we buy a front-of-the-line hopper type pass for US/IoA? If we can, do you think we'd have enough time to do most of the headliner/thrill rides before the parks close? It looks like US/IoA would close around 10pm. Thanks for any input!

Sounds like too much to me. Do you really think you'll want to leave the water park after only 4 hours? Don't forget to allot time for eating and changing and parking and travelling. I think you can probably do 1 of the Universal parks pretty thoroughly if they close at 10 pm. You can my a 1 park express pass.

Have a great trip.

Thanks for the reply! It does sound like too much, I agree, but I think a full day at US/IoA is more than we need. We have been before and our teens will be mainly interested in the thrill rides, so we don't have to do either park throughly. We'd have four days total for the trip and I didn't want to give up half the days away from the WDW parks, so that's why I was thinking about cramming TL and US/IoA into one day. I do think 4 hours at the water park will be enough for us. But that plus US/IoA sounds like a lot to do in one day. I can't figure out how to fit in 4 WDW theme parks, TL, and US/IoA in 4 days, plus leaving time to swim at the resort. Something's got to go, but I can't decide what won't get done. Thank you, lots to think about!

I'd ditch TL.
Keep in mind how things will FILL up that week. Parking, security lines, traffic...your best bet is to get somewhere in the morning and hunker down. :)
Plenty to do between the 2 parks for the day. It'll just be a big hassle trying to do extra stuff during Easter week. Btdt.

True, that week is so crazy. I could personally do without Typhoon Lagoon (crowds there drive me nuts more than the other places), but that's what they want to do.
I'm thinking now of a MK day, US/IoA day, TL day + Epcot evening, and HS day + MK evening. It cuts out Animal Kingdom altogether and doesn't give us a full day at Epcot, but that might be okay. You all are right, it's too much for us in a day to combine TL and US/IoA in one day. Thank you!
