Good Morning,

We will have a four year old and two 18 month olds with us. We plan to do one park in the morning, pool break, another park in the evening. Any advice on planning FP+ is appreciated. I know we won't be able to go too long in the morning and it is doubtful that we will be able to get three FP+ rides in before the meltdowns begin so is it better to do the FP+ for the evening park? I am assuming that I can get a FP+ for every hour...ride 1-9am-10am, ride 2-10:05am-11:05am, ride 3- 11:10am-12:10am.

Any FP+ strategies when going with little ones who need a break in between two different parks is much appreciated.

If you can't get them every hour, once you tap into the first one, you can try to modify your other FPs earlier.

I would get them for 10, 11, and 12 and then book a fourth one on my Disney experience for your first ride back in the afternoon OR do depending on when you get back do them 2, 3, 4... if you know you’ll really be there to benefit the slower mornings and will be back at the peak afternoon times then I would do the second way

If we plan on getting back to the park at 5 I book one for 4:30 so we can get on it at the tail end and be able to use the following one quicker

We've had the best luck with our little ones doing RD, and FP in the morning, as you listed: 9-10 a.m.; 10-11 a.m.; 11 a.m.-12 p.m. We'll do some low crowd rides before using the 9 a.m.-10 a.m. FP. We usually grab lunch between the second and third FP, or on our way out of the park. If the kids are up for it, we'll pick up a fourth FP in the morning. Otherwise, I usually line our fourth FP up for the afternoon/evening at the second park as soon as we tap our third.

I've found after the pool break/rest, the kids aren't always up for another long second park visit. So we usually only get in another ride or two, plus dinner, at the second park (or end up staying at the resort!). It's a matter of playing the afternoon by ear!

Have fun! :)

We have tried different strategies over the years with our 4 littles. I would say it really depends on which parks you are going to in the evening. Grabbing additional fp's at MK is pretty easy in the evening for the little rides.

Sometimes we do AM EMH without fastpass then save them for the evening.

Sometimes the tiered parks force you into using fastpasses even if just get them for 2 rides. So it really depends on your must dos. Make a list and make sure to get fastpasses for those. Then plan to rope drop the other priority rides. And remember you can prebook just one in a park (epcot for FEA for example) and once you scan in for that ride you can book another 2 in a different park.

It's like a puzzle...put it all down on paper then try to fit the pieces together. This part of the planning is fun to me!

Yep I agree. I found the times we saved all 3 for the evening park we never even got to use them all!
