Hi! We are planning our first trip to Disneyland(we're on the east coast and we've been to DisneyWorld 8 times in the last 7 years.) We are arriving at LAX about 11am on a Sunday in June. We will be staying until 2pm on Tuesday, as we are going on to Hawaii. Do we have enough time to do the majority of Magic Kingdom and DCA? It will be me, DH, DS7 and DS3. Which hotel should we choose? (we definitely want to stay onsite) Does Disney provide transfers from LAX, or do we need to rent a car?
Well, thanks for all your help. I'm sure I will have many more questions in the future!!!

Congratulations on your 1st trip to the DLR!! Our family absolutely loves it there and are going in December! You shouldn't have any trouble covering both parks in that amount of time, although I would recommend spending the majority of the time at DL. CA is fun, but with the ages of your kids, it can probably be accomplished in 1/2 day or so. All of the DL resorts are great in their own way, but for young children I would personally recommend the DL Hotel. It is whimsical and charming and has a Peter Pan-themed pool, which is a big hit for kids! pirate:

Most of the time we fly into Orange County Airport, but the last time we flew into LAX, they did have shuttle and bus service from the airport to the Disneyland area hotels.

Be sure to check out Hydro Guy's thread on WDW vets coming to DL. It is a wealth of information for folks like you. There is a shuttle from LAX that I believe is run by DLR, and another shuttle service called Super Shuttle, which might be cheaper. Hope you have a wonderful time here in California! :tinker:
