I've been reading alot of threads and can't wait to go back to my happy place :goodvibes The thing is my DDprincess: is 2 1/2, I think it would be crazy of me to go now:scared1: Ha Ha:rotfl: DH and I talked about it and we are going when she is 5. Sorry, if this has been asked before! So, how far in advance can I book our trip? I would like to start making payments(would be easier then putting money aside, always seem to spend it) After I book and start paying, can I change hotels? Any advise would be great:yay:
Been away far toooo long:earsboy:

Totally OK to go with a 2 1/1 year old! It is definitely a different park experience, but one you won't get with a 5 year old for sure! I'm sure there are different schools of thought on this, but in my opinion, take her and have a great time! I took my 3 kids last January, and my baby was 2 and 2 months. She had a blast!

I think you should go anyway! At 2.5 WDW would be the most magical place in the entire world for her :wizard: and you get to the memories and experience :thumbsup2 -unless this would be a once in a lifetime trip of course!
I'm taking DS 20 month and DS 4 (B'day trip) and I can't wait to see Disney through both their eyes. We plan on taking the boys every second year until... well they don't want to go anymore LOL! For us it will be nice to say "you've been going to Disney since you were XX years old!"
JMO :rolleyes1

Heh. I was just reading the other thread and at first thought this one was titled, "Family Planning Trip." Tickled me...

That's all. Carry on.

It all depends on what your up to. I don't know that anyone has really answered your original question. Which was if you can even start planning and paying this early. And my husband and I believe that you probably can't book this early in advance. But you could set up a special account where you deposit money into when you can, and don't touch it. I know that's easier said than done. But thats all I can think of. My hubby went when he was 4 and can't recall anything about that first trip, and he was the oldest kid in the group. We took our daughters for the first time last year they were 5 and 8, it was only because financially this was the first time we could do it. But I think they retained alot of it, and it was really awesome for them. But for the booking, I'd just call and see how early they allow it. Disney is super friendly and take time to answer all your questions.

Just tried plugging dates to the Disney World website and it let me go as far ahead as Dec 2009. Hope this helps you.

A friend told me you can't book online this early but you can call and make your room reservation. I am going to be calling soon to make resv. for June 2010 so if you do decide to call and are able to make your resv., post it here so I know. If I happen to call this week, I'll post and let you know if I get thru.

Thanks for your help, I'll look into setting up an account at my credit union for our trip. I also think waiting til' they can remember is a good idea, too crazy during the terrible two's to visit disney thanks again

Thanks everyone for looking into it for me. :grouphug: I will post any updates. Everyone is so helpful on the disboards. I would love to go now, but we are going to wait (terrible two's). It always helps when you get another perspective. This site is great :yay:
