Okay, here it is.... I am tentatively planning our next trip for early Oct/07. Can some people help me out with the promos that Disney has ran in the Fall of the year.

It will give me an idea of what promo they may have so I can try to predict savings when booking. I know it sounds crazy, but I saved with free PH and water parks last time which saved $500.00. Since they are re-running the same promo this spring, I want to know what promo they are running now?

The last two years around Oct it was free dining plan its not just for canadains so it usuall books up quick.

Not positive, but I think in 2006 the last day for free dining was Sept.29, so as long as you checked in by Sept 29, you were entitled to free dining for the duration of your holiday (10 days max). Please not though, that in order to get this promo, you had to pay rack rate for your hotel room as well as had to buy at least a one day disney theme park ticket per person.

Perhaps someone could chime in and let the OP know when this offer was made available for booking during 2006 so OP can start watching for it in 2007.

Thanks for all the info folks! We plan on getting a package thru Disney like last year and just modifying it when a special comes around.

On a funny note, my wife walked into the Disney Store today to look at what was new and walked out with a part-time job!

I know we took advantage of the free dining in August and I believe the booking date started in April. It was a huge saving for us--10 days free meals! We enjoyed restaurants that we wouldn't normally visit and had appetizers/desserts at every meal. I would try to adjust my dates slightly to take advantage of this if you could.

Right now the Free dining offer at the resorts is ending Sept 29th/07. My vacation currently starts Sept 28/07 tentatively. I booked it over the weekend online, now I will adjust the dates if needed, then add promos.

Disney here we come!!!!
