Planning an Intimate, but want some extras

We decided to go with an Intimate ceremony. Is it possible to get an outside photo/videographer? Does it conflict with the Disney photo package?

I'm assuming that the because the Intimate basically just entails the ceremony if we want to plan a fireworks cruise, dinner/dessert party we're on our own to book that?

My FDH and I are planning to book Randy Chapman with our intimate wedding along with using our Disney photographer. I haven't asked what the price is for him to come into Disney to do the Wedding, but will check. I'm not sure of the cost for Randy, but sever brides have said he's done a wonderful job. I have looked at some of his photos and was impressed.

Yes! I know...I keep seeing all these great pics from RC and have decided that's the way I want to go rather than buying an additional Disney package.

We had Randy Chapman for our intimate wedding and he was great- and a much better deal than any of the DIsney packages since you also get a master cd with all of your pics on it (that alone from disney would be $1000). We applied our DIsney Photography package that was included toward a HM session in Epcot for an extra $50- it was a lot of fun and totaly worth it. We spent more money than we would have if we had kept Disney's package but i think we got our money's worth.

As christineangel said, yes, you can book for an outside photographer for your intimate wedding. However, you will not get a "credit" for the Disney photography service, you will have to use it in some other way (usually at an additional cost). Talk to your EM and tell them what you want to do and they will give you the options available to you. Or you can contact Disney Photography Services and ask them what your options are!

We had an intimate and our wedding co-ordinator booked our lunch reception for us, but we were on our own for the dessert party.
