Planning Already!

I can see where having a DVC is for the type A, plan a holic. We just got back and want to go back the day after school gets out.

We want to stay at BCV again and since it is not our home resort I have the ticker set already for the countdown so I can call to get our 1 br at BCV.

So far I know we will arrive very late and spend the first nite in a value just to sleep, then wake up and go to BCV.

Then after a week at BCV we are going to Vero for the weekend to relax. The planning is already crazy figuring out points banked, points coming on and how many I will need.

Then there is the airline tickets, which we have SW credits, 1 renewal of an AP, 6 day ticket with park hopper for a guest, car rental, tips, DDP!

When is the fun part going to happen???

The fun will come when you have to figure out your dining ADRs!!

Enjoy planning this next trip for your family! The planning sometimes feels stressful but I still LOVE it!! We are going in July and I already know so much about how we want our trip to play out. Then I step back and tell myself that it's all about the kids so if there is something we don't get to do, we will just do it the next trip or on another future trip. DH and I went with this attitude in 2008 and it worked out so well, the boys had such a wonderful time and so did we.

Now the one thing I am pretty particular about is the dining ADRs. You see, DH and I eat very healthy and really watch what we eat all the time (we indulge on holidays and birthdays though)...when we are on vacation it is really time to indulge! So the restaurants we pick have to be places we will really love! Whenever we book any vacation, the first thing I look at is the food!

By the way, I'm definitely not a type-A personality, just an UBER-planner!!

I am already planning because DSS said he wants to go to WDW with us. He has not wanted to go in years so I am excited that he wants to come with us. The trip is being planned to meet his needs and our black out dates.

Right now I am still waiting to hear from DSS a firm commitment. Because we want BCV, not my home resort I plan to call exactly at the 7 month window. We just came home from BCV during F&W so I know we will get what we want.

I figured out the points and money needed for this trip. Now just waiting for the confirmation from DSS and then we will know for sure that we are going.

ADR's! I am really thinking about using the kitchen for the first time. But LeCelliers is so wonderful

We are also going in May, the day after school lets out! I have been planning in my head for a year now! As soon as my 7 month window opens, I'm switching my resort ressie and will really get to planning! Have fun- I am too excited!

I love the Planning part of it too. We are still in the early stages of planning our next trip - its likely to be October of 2010; so long away and many months before SW releases their fares for next October.
