Planning ahead to 2009

Should we plan to go during mid-winter break (week of President's Day) or spring break (which next year is the week before Easter)?

Are you planning for a week trip? If you were planning for a week long trip and were looking for less crowded conditions, I would pick the week around President's day weekend. The weekend will be very busy, but the weekdays before and after the four day weekend are light. Whereas the weeks surrounding Easter are busy. A lot of L.A. and Orange county schools take either of those two weeks off. It will be busy, although not as bad as the summer. I'm luckly, my kid's school district takes the second week after Easter off.
