Planning advice needed.

Im planning on making a reservation in January for a visit in December 2011. I want to book a 1 bedroom for my friend.

Can some give advice on best way to use points allowing me to use all my points without me asking someone to transfer points. I have 53 points June 2010, 160 each year after. Now if I bank the 2010 points do these go into 2011 points then can I then use 2011 and 2012 points for the visit, given me enough to cover trip.

You should be able to bank your 2010 points and use 2010 and 2011 for your Dec 2011 trip... assuming your 2010 were not banked from 2009

A Dec 2011 trip will be in your June 2011 UY. So you should be able to bank points (2010), use current (2011) and borrow (2012) in January 2011 to make the reservation.

Another quick question.

Although im making the reservation for my friend in January for xmas, my wife and I would like to go at xmas as well. As I will be using points from 2010, 2011 and 2012 to complete this booking. We will be going in July as usual and this will leave us around 50 points If I book in January for us to go at xmas will I be able to use the 50 points from 2012 and then use 2013 to complete reservation. hopefully we can and this will enable us to go twice next year.
