Planning a LARGE Group Trip

I agree with this, if limited to only the two options given.

I would instead do something like
one full day MK
one full day EP
one day HS/AK

If your taking a Highschool group, I'd suggest:

full day at MK
full day at DHS
half day AK, EP

I don't want to take anything away from Epcot ( I personally like it ) but I know some high schoolers will find it boring. Only one main ride (TestTrack) but at DHS there are some cool shows plus rides that I think Highschoolers would enjoy more than at Epcot. Just my suggestion, no matter what, I bet they'll enjoy it :goodvibes

Here now with a group of 240. We did DTD on arrival night - 2 hours was plenty. We did Epcot today with our 3 hour Disney Performing Arts Workshop, MK tomorrow, DAK and DHS on Saturday. Give them plenty of time in the parks, and yes, you should stay on the same itinerary with the entire group. This makes it much easier on whoever is in charge.

Thank you for the advice! Are all 240 of you using Disney transportation?

Do you know for sure that the teenagers will want to do the character breakfast? I'd just be afraid that a lot of them would be in the "too cool" for characters stage.

I think they would think it's fun, but I'm leaning toward not booking one just for the difficulty in booking something for that large of a group and trying to make an 8:00 a.m. ADR using Disney transportation. We'll probably just grab CS.

Sorry, I just don't see the reasoning behind breaking them up. If we want to see all 4 parks, it just makes sense to have one plan. Plus there are times when we all want or have to do something together, like the character breakfast or the Y.E.S. program. Those things can't be done when everyone is in different parks. Thanks for giving me a different perspective though. Do you have a suggestion on which of the two itineraries I should go with?
With the trips I've planned, I've never had a group where everyone wanted to see all four parks. We had kids loyal to MK or Epcot, and one group of kids who chose DAK both days. So it was easier for us to offer different options so that the kids (who were paying for the trip themselves, in most cases) could see what they wanted to see. If the whole group wants to see all four parks and wants to stay together, then obviously the way we did it isn't practical.

Of your two options, I'd choose #2. Although if you're hoping to get your entire group into a character breakfast together, you'll want to call Group Services or Disney Events at WDW to help work that out. You can't just call Disney reservations and get a character breakfast for a large number.

Is there any opportunity to present both plans to the client and have them choose?
