Planning a family trip for May 2006

We are planning on getting a house or villa near Disneyworld for a week in May 2006 and I have been looking on some of the websites, but I don't really know the best areas of Orlando to stay. We want to be close to Disney, but also in good location for other Orlando things. I have only stayed at a hotel DTD or onsite. But there will be about 8 of us and we did consider onsite, but a couple of the men want to be able to stay at the house if they want to. Also if anyone know any good websites to look for houses, please let me know.

I like vbro and have had really nice people respond to my inquiries. We rent a house, same one for the 3rd time, this Christmas at Windsor Palms. Really nicely supplied with garbage bags, sponges, paper towels, etc. and soooo clean! Good luck looking.
