Planning 2003 trip!

Can anyone out there give me any advice please?
We recently returned from WDW Florida and had such a wonderful time that I'm trying to plan next years holiday!
I would like to stay for 1 week around WDw and 1 week at a beach resort.
The question is, can anyone recommend where to stay within a short driving distance or transfer distance from Orlando?
I will be travelling with my DH, DD (4), DD (19) and DS (15).
I was considering either Ormond Beach or Daytona Beach - any views?
We have timeshare so, once I decide where to look, we shall be looking at that accomodation.

Hi Alison
I would consider Clearwater Beach or Sarasota for your second centre - both on the Gulf coast. Clearwater takes about 1 and a half hours from Orlando.
Most people prefer the Gulf coast to the Gold if they don't want too long a journey. The nicer beaches on the Gold Coast, apart from Vero Beach, are further down South.
