Planning '09 trip

Hi, we are looking at planning a trip 2 disneyland in May/June 2009. We have never been 2 disneyland or California before, but have been to wdw twice. Does anyone know when details of events etc for next year will be available, also we are thinking of staying in Paradise Pier - any thoughts on this compared to other non-disney hotels? Thanks x

I've yet to stay at the Pier.

here's my take on the other two.


GCH - Very nice hotel, but lacks a Disney feel, but has it's own entrance to DCA.

DLH - my 1st choice, even the wallpaper has disney characters. 10 min walk to the Park. threw DTD. or you 4 min walk to the Monorail which would drop you off in tomorrow land.

PP - just a bit south of DLH so maybe add 3-5 mins to your walk

Calendars are posted 2-4 months in advance - much less than WDW's 6+ months.
