...help! I have no trip to plan! :rotfl2:

Everything's fine, life is good, it's just summer, the last two weeks before they go back to school are the hardest and the biggest whine is that we may or may not go to WDW this Christmas, we just don't know yet. I miss having to make a plan and having things to research. How many points for this time of year or that time? I miss hanging here with all of you! I want to make a paper chain out of park maps and tear one off every day. I wish I was filling my WDW container with surprises for the kids for the trip. Do I need new rain ponchos this time? Sigh. I don't even know that.

:rotfl: Anybody else with me?

You have it rough. ;) I have a trip coming up and I've hardly done any planning at all. I've set up my calendar with the park hours and that's about it. We were really hoping to have some guests with us this time, and they weren't able to make it, so now I'm kind of sad about that and unmotivated.

It sounds to me like your already planning. You just need that friendly push to get the momentum going. Hmmm. First, it is less than 7 months till Christmas so it would be appropriate to go ahead and make those reservations so you have the accommodations locked in. It would be terrible if later on it was decided to go at Christmas and that you would have to wait list which may, or may not come through. And, if it doesn't come through the disappointment would be devastating. Let's say you do go ahead and make the reservations and find out that you won't be going this Christmas. You can cancel the reservation 31 or more days before check-in. All your Vacation Points used to make the reservation will be restored to your account in the Use Year in which the reservation falls. Let the planning begin!!!!

Well, I did go ahead and make a couple of Christmas Day dinner reservations, just in case. You are right, it would not be good to no be able to do that later. And this trip would be off property at my inlaws' house that is 15 minutes from WDW, so that's not an issue. I think we'll know by the end of September or so if we can swing it. I'm just whining a little about not knowing now for sure! :goodvibes

I do have things planned for next summer that my children do not know about...and that is SUPER fun. :rolleyes1:rolleyes1:yay:

But if I really had my way, I'd go to WDW once every month in the year. It's just the 1400 mile commute that's killing my plan!
