Planner Assigned!

So I've had my planner assigned!! (Michelle Gihooly) Now...she called and left me a message stating that her assistant would be e-mailing me some information sometime this week. I am an extremely impatient bride (I know aren't we all) Does anyone know offhand what she will be sending me? Whats the time frame like before you hear back from the planner? I'm so excited I just can't wait. Thanks!

Hello, we also just got our planner (Tanis). We are havig an Escape Wdding, so the documents will surely change if you are having a Wishes.

The documents we got were:

Escape Planning Worksheet
Escape Videography Packages
Escape Photo Packages Domestic no video
Cosmetology Listing
Escape Wedding Floral
Escape FAQ

I just got assigned my planner too. She sent me a lot of doubles from the electronic follow up. Things like the food and bar prices. THe only new thing was the planning doc. It was a bunch of questions that asked about what you were thinking about doing for your wedding, ie are you interested in a welcome party, what kind of meal are you thinking. Its just so they know what to talk to you about at the planning session and what they shouldn't waste your time on.

It should take no longer than one week (that's how long it took for us to hear from our planner) Did you book your second meeting yet? That was fun, because it's a great excuse to go to DW. During the second meeting you start picking out all the things you would like for your wedding, flowers, cake, etc....

you are soso lucky. i had michelle and she is wounderful. everything she did for my wedding was perfect. she is calm and always happy. but she can get the job done!!

I'm starting to get nervous because we still haven't heard from her though I did call and leave her a message. Outside of signing our contract no details have really been planned yet. We've not gotten to book our planning session either.

I am just like you and very impatient. Don't worry they will get back with you and get you all the information. You have plenty of time to plan everything. Do you live far from Disney because that affects your planning meeting. I am actually flying in and am trying to see if they can fit me in on my trip. Its really all around your schedule and if they are around when you come in.

Part of the beauty of a disney wedding is that they practically do everything for you so somewhat minimal planning is needed. If you are having a wishes wedding i could forward the pricing I got for the food.

Yes I am in PA so Disney is a bit of a trip. I'm especially impatient because we are really hoping they can fit us in for a planning session the last week of June as we have reason to be in Florida at that time. We are a Wishes wedding and have the Napa Room at the California Grill reserved. I looked at the Menus on mouseweddings but I don't know how up to date that info is. I'm also just overly excited.

Well I just "booked" our planning session. I simply told them when I am coming in and they said when they were around. Just email your wedding planner and mention that you are planning on being down and since you are down you would love to try and fit in a planning session. They should get back to you very quickly. I have Jennifer and she is great. Good luck with your planning!
