Planet Hollywood vouchers and dining plan

We have the regular dining plan and plan on having dinner there one night. We want to use the $15 voucher to purchase an appetizer, is it allowed? I remember reading somewhere about the voucher can't be combined with dining plan is it true?

If you get the appetizer on a different bill you can apply the voucher to that bill.

what about using the $15 voucher for one of you - and the other person using the dining plan credit - thus saving the credit for another meal ?

I'd go this way. PH is cheap compared to other TS at Disney.
