Planet Hollywood voucher?

I recently received our confirmation for our Sept. 30-Oct. 8 trip and it stated that we would get a meal voucher for Planet Hollywood. What do we get for this? It has been a while since I have booked a package since we used to have ap's.

I just got ours in the mail with our package documents.

The voucher says it is good for one select entree (any burger platter, Ceasar salad or Pasta pomodoro) and one non-alcholic beverage - gratuity not included. I was disappointed in the minimal selections.

Does it come with all packages? I haven't got my papers yet for my Feb trip.

The selection is minimal, and it is only one per package. I'd definitely not use it unless i was by myself, I'd not take a family there to pay for meals (I am not a PH fan).

There is also a free souvenir of some sort, you have to present the voucher between like 11am and 5pm on weekdays.

The PH information started turning up on confirmations during the last promotion period, maybe a little earlier (a few months back). I don't know if the PH certificates will be given out to guests who had packages previous to that.

I'd like to put in my $.02 as well. Not a fan of PH. I think the reason they are giving food (even limited selection of food) away is that they are having trouble selling it.

Planet Hollywood gets two thumbs down (even if they're both my thumbs).

My humble advice: Don't bother with PH.

I am SURE they are giving the food away because they aren't selling it well. This way, they give one cheap meal away, and hope to sell a few more.

When I quote guests, i don't even mention the PH vouchers, I don't consider them a bonus for the package.

are these things transferrable? Does anyone know? My guess is "no" they are not. It seems a shame to waste it, but it's not tops on my list of restaurants and there are so many others we'd like to try.

If they are transferrable, and someone wants mine, they can have it!

I also received the voucher for my upcoming trip in 10 days...

Last Dec. 2004, we had a 25$ gift certificate given to us with our land/sea trip, we decided to give it a try and eat there. The food was o.k., but the place is really noisy. Not sure if I will use it this time around.

Anyone know what the free gift is?

bunnysmum or anyone: If you don't want the voucher, I want it! Please :) It will be just two of us so I just need one more and it will be enough for a free meal.

The vouchers say non-transferable and have the name of the guest on the package as well as the dates.

Our trip is end of Jan and we just got the vouchers. On the voucher it also says one per party so getting extras won't help you out. We are travelling with my mom who has separate reservations and we would have 2 vouchers. I very seriously doubt we'll go there but I'm taking them just in case.

Oh I got an idea, why don't have one person use the Voucher and another person use one TS credit from the dining plan? PH is on the list right? Maybe save the extra TS for breakfast someplace else.

We aren't going until August so we don't have any paperwork yet. The souvenir thing says it can only be redeemed on weekdays? Is that right? Our departure day is Saturday and we don't have park passes for that day so I figured we'd hit DTD for a little while. I'll be mad if I can't get my souvenir!

After these reviews I don't think I want to eat lunch at PH and then get on a plane!
