We're interested in using the "$15 Certificate" to Planet Hollywood that comes with our MYW pkg. Has anyone else done this? Do we need to make ressie NOW for October?

Interested to know the answer to this as well.

Thanks

Im not sure if you can make a booking now, I think it's one of those ones that doesn't follow the ADR route like Rainforest Cafe and Big River Grille:confused3 ?

Last September during free dining we just got a guy at the front desk of PoP! to book a table for us for later that evening. No wait at all to get in, just turned up at the booked time. Ive seen huge queues of people at the front door waiting to get in the last 2 Septembers but we wonered if they were perhaps all walk ups who didnt know it could be booked?

The person I spoke with at Disney Dining said ADRs @ Planet Hollywood could only be made within 30 days.

I don't think you will have any problem getting in if you make a reservation a couple days in advance.
We were not impressed the first time we ate there, so we have never used our $15 certificate.

I have my ADR booked for Sep, they said it just couldn't be booked with the 10+ days, but within 180 was ok. Also, does anyone know if they are still doing the "1 dessert per 2 people thing" when on the ddp? :confused3

honestly I think you should just toss the certificate in the trash.

When we actually used ours it ended up costing us quite a bit more than you would expect... not to mention the choices for the kids were limited and so bad that we couldn't even get them to eat them. I felt bad for trying to get my daughter to eat her pizza that they gave her because when I tasted it I found for the first time that you can make a nasty unedible pizza... I didn't think they could do it but Planet did.

Since that time we have continued to toss those planet hollywood certificates. Even if they were for a free meal I don't think I would use them... my vacation time is too short to waste on bad food.

I made an ADR for October 9 last week with no problem.

We plan on using the $15 certificate for a light dinner on our arrival day.

This is what I want to do also. I'm familiar with Planet Hollywood and their food, and $15 is $15 when you're on a budget. Thanks.

If nothing else, if we're in DTD anyway,I at least want to get something to go-like dessert or an appy, for later on at night with our $30(I think we get 2 with 2 rooms??)ARe there any stipulations to the coupons, like you can't use 2 at the same time or anything like that??

We didnt have ressies for our october trip and had no problem getting a table

on a previous trip all we had to do is fill out an application for a credit card and we got the next available table (even if you are not interested in the credit card, just fill it out with incorrect info if need be) we also got one gift of choice, my daughter choose and austin powers movie.

we did have a problem the first time we were there with the mac and cheese that they served on the kids menu -- it was horrible and we ended up sending it back and just getting my daughter plain noodles with butter.

but if you are going for appys get the capn crunch chicken -- it rocks
