I believe that I read somewhere today that the new opening date is now January 3rd.

I had a reservation for Dec 28th made through open table and someone just called to say due to construction delays they had to cancel my reservation.

We had reservations for Dec 15th.... they called and canceled them, said they were hoping to open around the 1st of the year. Which if you go to their website I do think they are taking reservations for Jan now.... not that it means anything.

And, I posted too soon. Just got the cancellation call. Caller said renos were running behind, that they'd hoped to open in November but now it wouldn't be until after the holidays.

1) DUH !
2) Disney has been WAY BEHIND projection(s) of rehab dates.
3) Nothing new here.
4) Sometimes one wonders WHAT IS WRONG WITH DISNEY?
5) The Project Managers simply do not know how to plan!
6) If I did this when I ran projects, manufacturing plants and two companies, I would be terminated.

NOTE: Pardon my personal opinion, but planners at Disney are simply under qualified for their jobs. They must be REALLY HAPPY they do not work for a company that holds them responsible for budgets-planning-timing-performance.

Just got the call to cancel my reservation for Jan. 7.....unforeseeable delays. He said they had hoped to be opened by the 6th but that is not going to happen
