Planet Hollywood Observatory and Dining Plans

So, I just noted that Planet Hollywood doesn't take the dining plan. Is this because it's new? Is there any particular reason? Do we expect them to start accepting dining plan credits at some point?

Our first time on the dining plan was in 2008 and Planet Hollywood was not on the dining plan then. If it ever was on the DDP it must have been quite a few years ago.

I just called them and they said they do take the dining plans.

I saw somewhere that they do... and have reservations there for our arrival night, so sure hope they do!!

When I look at Planet Hollywood Observatory on the Disney Dining website it says that they do accept DDP.
We are thinking about eating here, as we do not have a Planet Hollywood near us at home and it may be something different for the kids.
