On the voucher it states that you can not use it in conjunction with any MYW plan including dining. I understand that you can't use it at the same time you're crediting to the dp but does this mean you can't use it at all ifyou have the dining plan? A friend is calling today but I thought you guys would probably have the answer.

The only way you can use it (if on ddp) is if you go sit at the bar before your ressie and buy an app and/or drink, pay for it with the voucher (end transaction).
Then go to your ressie.

That's really not my question, I have all my ts meals allocated so not planning on using it with my plan. The voucher makes it sound like you can't use it at all if you having dining included in your plan.

You can use it, just not during the same transaction as the dining credits. ie., if you go in and order a drink at the bar you can use your voucher. If you order a drink with the meal and are using a dining credit, the voucher can not be used at that time.

I go there every year on the day that I am flying home. I get a burger, fries and drink and use my 15 dollar coupon. I did have the dining plan..

what if a person in your party wants to use it while eating lunch with you but you are on the dining plan and they're not. can't we just ask for seperate checks and I use my TS credit and they can use the voucher?

If you are planning to pay OOP, how would Planet Hollywood know that you have a DDP? Don't make this more complicated than it is.

A friend of ours is going the same time as us but is on the Dining plan and she was thinking about giving us her voucher. Can me and DH just get seperate bills and both use the voucher on our individual bills.

As far as I know it is one voucher per table, even if checks are split. And no one at the table can be using DDP for their meal or they will refuse the voucher. It's not a Disney run restaurant, and they are a little strict there about the discounts.

you could use it if say you went for lunch and decided to pay oop. but if you already have all your meals planned then the only way you could make use out of it is if you did what i said in my first post at the bar with an app or drink or whatever.

we were there last year and we had ddp, as well as my in laws. my brother and wife were paying oop and they could not use their voucher at our big table cause there was already dinning plan going on. Even though they had a separate check and were paying oop. Hope this answers your question.

maybe I'm confused reading some of these replies...you can use the voucher if you are on the dining plan, you just have to inform the waitress that you are not planning on using a table service credit for the meal, you'd like a bill and present your coupon towards the payment. we've done this before.

I have 2 meals this trip plan, that yes we're on the dining plan, but we arent using our credit for and will gladly pay OOP.

Again maybe some of the replies has confused me so my answer is not what you were looking for. My apologies if so. (lately everyone on here is a little tense).

there may not be any tables available but you could probably sit in the bar section and have a late night dessert and use your voucher. I believe it is dine in only- so you wouldn't be able to get your dessert to go and use your voucher.

o.k., here's all the answers...personally, we don't think that voucher is much of a deal, because of all the limitations on it...which makes it a great marketing promo because it looks like a great freebie. Appears to be way more valuable than it is in practice.

1) if anyone at your table is using the Dining Plan: no voucher allowed even if it's all separate checks. That's just the way they do it. Might not make sense, but that's how it works.

2) one voucher per table...again, even if it's six people on six different checks all paying cash, you still only get to use one voucher per table. Again, that's just the way it works.

3) you can use the voucher at the bar to get a drink or appetizer, pay with the voucher & then go eat in the restaurant on the dining plan. People even check-in to wait for their table, then go to the bar & order an appetizer...pay for it on the spot with the voucher. Then take the appetizer to their table with them & use the dining plan in the restaurant...

4) no take-outs with the voucher...dine-in only, either eat in the bar or eat in the restaurant but not to-go

I do not have all my meals planned, I have all my ts credits accounted for. I still have to night I arrive and was thinking of using it just to grab a burger and fries. Never cared for PH when we had ours here but thought if I had it why not use it.

Okay this might sound odd but I have two booklets both for different trips. Do they expire? If I wanted to use the Sept book for my Oct trip would their be an issue you think? On the back it doesn't say they expire.

Can you use it for alcoholic beverages? I haven't been able to find any info on limitations, so I'm glad I found this thread.

Also, on my reservation for my trip, it says $15 voucher for food at PH, and it also says "merchandise voucher" with no dollar amount - what is THAT? Is it something separate?
