planet hollywood 15.00 question

Can you use it for alcoholic beverages? I haven't been able to find any info on limitations, so I'm glad I found this thread.

Also, on my reservation for my trip, it says $15 voucher for food at PH, and it also says "merchandise voucher" with no dollar amount - what is THAT? Is it something separate?

No alcoholic beverages...actual voucher limitations listed on the back to the voucher start with "$15 credit for food and non-alcoholic beverages at Planet Hollywood..." and so on. People have reported getting "virgin" drinks at the bar with it, like strawberry daiquiri or pina colada without the booze.

The merchandise voucher is for a souvenir keepsake...unless they have changed it this year, it's been a Planet Hollywood key chain the last couple of years. Not worth a trip over to get it unless you were planning on going there anyway.

Okay this might sound odd but I have two booklets both for different trips. Do they expire? If I wanted to use the Sept book for my Oct trip would their be an issue you think? On the back it doesn't say they expire.

Yes, they do expire...if you look at the vouchers, you'll see on the front of the voucher they actually have your reservation number & name on the voucher as well as "package validity Dates" which lists the exact days of your stay. The vouchers are "valid" -- meaning accepted -- for those dates only. Some places will actually ask for your KTTW card to verify your stay when you redeem the vouchers. I suppose there's a chance you might get someone who's not reading the details all that carefully, but our experience, is that most of the employees are very careful checking the dates on these things.
