Plane leaves BUF @ 7:10 when should I leave hotel?

I am going to check in online to get an A pass, but do you think if I left the hotel at 6:00 am that would be enough time for security? Can we leave it later? (our plane leaves at 7:10 am)

I would be there at least an hour and a half ahead of time. Especially if it's a weekday there will be lots of business travellers first thing. Some mornings the security line ups can be very long. I would leave the hotel at 5:30.

get your boarding pass from spouthwest web checkinn 24 hours from your flight time.then your checked in.then you can just use curb side checkinn and you should have an A boarding pass for first seat selection donnt wait in line inside because the wait will just add time in line for security.if you get there an hour early you can just go right through the line then get breafast across from the southwest gate.we do it all the time if you wait inside for checkinn your in line for half an hour we give $1.00 a bag and its well worth it trust me .....have fun

You will have a youngster in a stroller won't you?
If so, they will put you through a much shorter security line. Both times going out of BUF, we tired to go into the regular security line and both times , a security person told us to go in a much shorter line. We had no idea what this was all about. Then I read on the DIS transportation board that it was because of the stroller.

For an early flight we get the 445 am shuttle from the airport hotel. Early I know, but once through security, we let the kids play at the indoor play centre until flight time.

I always take the 7:10 flight and get the 6 a.m shuttle from the airport....have lots of time to get thru security,have breakfast and still time to spare. Have taken this flight pretty well every day of the week numerous times, with various ages of companions and have never had an issue.

On our most recent trip (Oct, 2006) we used kiosk check-in at SWA with our pre-printed boarding passes and by-pass the extra handling fee by curb-side check-in.

We left the stroller behind . Our girls are now 8 and 5. We lined up in the regular security line and it moved through quickly about 15-20 mins. We are no longer eligible for pre-boarding either as the little one is no longer "little".

I'm sure we left the hotel on the 5:45am shuttle for our 7:10am flight and had still plenty of time!! The girls are now expert travellers and we have the luggage and carry-on items down to a science. We even travelled the parks backpack-free on a lot of the days !! Can you imagine!!!?????
