oh ooh! i loved this thread so much! i got obsessed with wedding dresses! and to this day when i am bored sometimes i will go look at wedding dresses online

matt and i are planning:
a private ceremony at sunset pointe.
probably in late december/early january of 2012 or 2013 depending on the financial factor.
i'll ride in cinderella's royal coach.
no reception, but a cake cutting/champagne ceremony.
disney music. i'll walk up the aisle to kiss the girl, and we'll leave to can you feel the love tonight.
we'll head to dinner and eat at a resort restaurant. (maybe boma?)
then we'll have a 7-10 day honeymoon. i'm not sure where we want to stay, but definitely leaning towards akl.

when we get home and get our pictures back, we're going to have a reception for our friends and family here at the tennessee aquarium in chattanooga.

okay i dont really have many details...i havent thought of a lot of the details yet, but here goes the basics.

im thinking a ceremony on the beach...i havent looked up the disney locations, but somewhere that can hold 50/100 ish people. for a dress, im thinking something light, flirty, and fun. the bridesmaids (im planning on having 3 plus a maid of honor) would wear dark blue sundresses, white sandals, and pearls. for my entrance song, id go w the traditional wedding march, but for my exit id do maybe the indiana jones or the pink panther theme

reception would be in a ballroom, with a seafood-based cuisine. candy bar, too. the cake would be studded with shells, and be yellow with dark chocolate mousse. not sure what the first dance song would be. I want to have disney characters, a dj, and some kind of comedic entertainment. plus something special for the kids and tweens, like a lounge area. my ideal reception spot would be someplace where i could view the magic kingdom fireworks at night.

honeymoon would be somewhere tropical. thats really all ive thought of in that department

In my wedding project for school, I had like a white and red theme going on with a strapless dress for me and short red dresses for the bridesmaids. The cake was the WDW castle with Minne and Mickey standing outside and all my jewellery was Hello Kitty. :] For my first dance song thingy I had Love Story by Taylor Swift but I'd rather it was something like an acousitc version of Heaven Can Wait by We The Kings or something. Oh, and it was on Castway Cay

I haven't actually planned it all out or anything, but I would love for my wedding to be in Italy, World Showcase. It would be amazing to watch Illuminations afterwards and get to dance to Promise (The song that plays afterwards) It matches so beautifully!
I want a Disney World honeymoon of course, and I think it would be alot of fun to switch to a couple of different resorts throughout the vacation that I've never been to before. Not too many because it sounds like alot of work moving all of our stuff, especially after spending all day on your feet. (I'm used to the military type Disney trips where you don't sit down unless it's on a ride lol)
