My husband surprised me with APs for our anniversary and a last minute President's Day Weekend trip! We arrive Saturday morning and check in to CSR. We're planning on AK that day but I'm trying to figure out Sun and Mon. Our only ADR is California Grill brunch and I don't think we'll plan any others. Which parks would choose for Sun and Mon? We're prepared for crowds and aren't too worried about getting on the big rides.

we are also going that weekend but we don't arrive until Monday and we are doing MK that day - the boys are doing the Daytona 500 on Sunday and myself and son's girlfriend are doing 1900 Park Fare for brunch then horseback riding at Ft Wilderness on Sunday while they are at the race :) then MK on Monday! We are doing Crystal Palace at 9:40 then have afternoon FP+s for Big Thunder, Splash and Space and then hopping the boat to Trail's End for early dinner then back for Happily Ever After w/ afterwards dessert party :)

Happy Anniversary and have a great trip..let me know what else you plan!

Thank you!

I like the idea of a dessert party...checking that out now! We've never been over to Ft. Wilderness but I definitely want to check it out because my parents have a 5th Wheel trailer that we could bring for a stay.

DD and I are doing the CG brunch too! 11;30

What is nice if its too busy for rides then watch the shows, fireworks etc .

Epcot also has the Festival of Arts now so there are some nice food booths. It can be fun just wandering and looking for something interesting to try.

Hope the weather is good!

I would do MK on Monday because that is the day with the shortest pack hours, and a day that many people will be flying back home, so likely to be quieter. I noticed AK has extra magic hours on Saturday (greater crowds, and you will miss it since you are arriving mid-morning) so if you aren't wedded to that you might want to consider AK on Sunday instead, and split Epcot/HS for your arrival day, especially since Epcot is closer to your hotel anyway.

I cannot wait for the brunch! We have a trip planned in September and I wasn't going to be able to fit it in our Sunday plans but it works better for just DH and I anyway!

Our AK day is pretty set. I was able to get 8:00 FOP FPs and we'll get in line for Navi right before closing. We love Pandora at night, its so neat.

I think we're passing on HS this trip. Without my 4yo, it just doesn't interest us that much. Epcot is definitely a full day for us though, we love WS!

Our brunch ADR is 12:30, so I doubt we'll be out of there before 2 which I where I get stuck. I'm thinking we'll get to MK earlier on Sunday and then just walk over to CR. After brunch, maybe a minnie van to Epcot? We might just see where the day takes us on Monday!

Our experience is that for Monday holiday weekends, Sunday crowds are higher than Monday crowds. Take it for what it’s worth - just about 2 cents..

I would do Epcot on Sunday - and you can always monorail over from CG instead of a MV if you want...

So, I got an email this morning that my magic bands shipped. Will they arrive by next Friday? I thought it was too late and we’d have to pick them up at check in.

My gf and I are doing a one-off day/night on that Monday too. Staying at CBR that Mon night. We're hopping around since we just have the one day, but plan on spending most of our time at MK and Epcot. As you said, just expect crowds and hit up what you can. Monday might be a tiny bit less busy since a lot of people will travel back that day, but it will still be heavy I imagine.

Enjoy your trip!

Why do you think? TP has it as the least crowded park that day, but I know to take that with a grain of salt.

Honestly, I'm not even that worried about the crowds. I'm a little curious actually.
From my experience, MK is always packed on Mondays-whether it's a holiday or not. Of course, it seems like every park is packed nowadays.

Any guesses on how busy MK will be on Thur the 21st? How early should we arrive for rope drop?

For MK on any date when the regular hours open is at 9AM, guests are admitted
through the front gates and onto Main Street at 8AM.
(Yes, that's a full hour before the attractions open.)

Then, all guests are held at the castle Hub area until the 9AM opening time.
(There is a "Welcome Show" on the Castle Stage (8:55AM) just before they open the attraction areas to guests.)
