Where would I go to place a complaint with WDW?

This is regarding the Lost and Found Service.

Thank you.:)

You can't just post a question like that without providing details. There are least 24 DIS members that are just dying to know what this is about.

List the reason and you will have 26 criticize you. Keep it a secret. Less stress.

This.

Then again by the time the thread hits page 20 you'll forget what the issue with Lost and Found was so maybe there's a benefit? Of course you'll also think you need therapy. :rolleyes1

I am surprised you had an issue with lost and found. I was amazed at how lost and found was down to a science. DD lost a flip flop on a bus. I contacted the front desk at All Star Movies, they connected me to lost and found which was located at the kennel in front of MK at the time. I had to describe the shoe and tell them what day it was lost and sure enough it was waiting for me in the Wednesday bin when I stopped to claim it.
Sorry you had troubles. Hopefully your item is replaceable.

I don't post often, but just came back Sunday from WDW. Lost my Android X on TTA on Thursday night during MNSSHP (10/6). My husband went to the lost and found and retrieved it on Friday (10/7). I doubted Disney, but my husband never did. Turns out he was right! Don't give up...they might surprise you!!

One does not simply walk into Mordo - er, criticize Disney.

Previous posters have given you the correct address for complaints, but just wanted to share my experience with you because I found that Disney were very good.

We had a horrendous experience at DLP in 2010, long story short, there is very little positive that I can say about the place. I wrote to Disney HQ and expressed how disappointed we were. We'd paid over £3500 ($5200) for a 4 day trip and I explained that it complete let the Disney side down.

They wrote back to me and called me and apologized for what had happened (I'd sent them pictures of trash outside our room left by mousekeeping for 4 days!). They sent us 6 3 day hopper tickets with Water Park option for Florida (because they knew we were planning to go to FL next time and would never go back to DLP).

They were very responsive to my complaint and I hope they repeat this with your complaint.

I lost my wallet last month in the Japanese Pavillion. I didnt realize until we we almost ready to leave the park. I just thought it would be gone. My husband ran all the way back to the Japanese Pavillion (that's a long run in the heat)! He had my wallet. I couldn't believe it. The lady at the counter said by the time they noticed it, I was long gone.
I was so grateful. You just never know, I hope whatever you have lost does show up.:)

I lost my phone on EE and didn't notice it until we'd walked quite some distance away. I went back and they sent me to a counter in the gift shop where I waited, and it eventually made it's way down and I was good to go. The CM did admonish me to be more careful, but really, I deserved that. :)

I've lost my sunglasses twice - and gotten them back. So they do try.

Maybe he/she is mad that someone didn't turn something in, and now she wants Disney to pay for it!

My neice left a bag of brand new little ponies just purchased at DTD on the bus, she fell asleep on the way home and left them on the seat on our way out. The next morning they were at central lost & found and delivered to our resort gift shop that afternoon.

About 2 years ago dh left our camera on the back of the chair at Mama Melrose on our last day. We didn't realized until we got back to the resort and started packing, made a report at the front desk and flew home. About a week later we got our camera in the mail from WDW.

So OP - definately ontact guest relations and I am xx my fingers that you also get a good result!!

Since nobody else is, I will post a negative lost and found story. We have only lost two things at DW (on two different trips). My father's brand new shirt and my daughter's bathing suit. In both situations they were left by the pool at the Grand Floridian for maybe an hour before we realized we forgot them and contacted the front desk and lost and found, and neither time did we get them back.

I find it just odd -- each instance was one year apart and its not like the items were super coveted (like an Iphone or something). So I doubt some guest would have stolen them. But where did they go? Was lost and found just that disorganized?

I left our park back at a restaurant at WDW on our first trip. It had my wallet, my room key, my tickets, credit cards, our camera, etc. all in it.

Because of bus issues on the way home by the time we got to our resort and realized it was gone the restaurant had closed. The front desk called the restaurant, had them find the bag and someone drove it over to our hotel because we didn't have a car.

At Epcot this past July, my son lost his Poke-walker (kind of a pedometer that works with a Pokemon electronic game.) We tried for several days to see if lost & found had it, but no such luck. I was just grateful it wasn't too expensive to replace (about $15.) But I couldn't imagine what someone else would have wanted with it and why it didn't get turned in.
