The TTA is a great place to sit, relax, enjoy the scenery, and (I've done this) take a nap.

TTA is most relaxing. Paging Mr. Morrow - Mr. Tom Morrow.

on your poll you didn't have an all of the above....any of the listed are great imo although i am partial to the park esp. at spectro time

TTA for us also! If you stand just right on the escalator up to it, you can get a great little foot massage also... :teeth:

We like to "pop a squat" next to the tomorrowland speedway. There are some benches along the walkway. Its just so nice to sit and take it all in.
We also like to sit right outside the Mainstreet Bakery, its the perfect view of the castle and sometimes you can catch a bunny hopping along...
:cloud9: :rolleyes1  :love2: :hyper2:

I think with a 6 year old son, I would have to vote for Tom Sawyer Island. Both of my boys really enjoyed this area at that age and we found it ideal for a mid day break one of the few times we did stay all day in MK. If I was attempting a whole day in the park, I would probably combine 2 of these - have a nice air conditioned lunch and then spend some time at TS island.

The Hall of Presidents is a great place to rest in the MK. Especially on a hot day - the AC is a welcome relief.

Just try not to snore.

Standing behind the castle looking towards main street, there is a walkway to the left of the castle. Down that walkway is a small fountain with 2 benches, very quiet and relaxing area, hardly anyone goes to this area. Nothing around you, just you and the castle.

We love taking a break on the TTA. There is not normally a long line and its nice and relaxing with a nice cooling breeze. Plus DS 7 loves seeing into some of the rides.

We booked our trip through AAA and with our package we each got a coupon to the AAA VIP lounge area. I dont even remember its exact location but I believe it was tucked away in a corner somewhere in Tomorrow Land. It was nice and air conditioned with comfy chairs to relax in and you get a complimentary drink and they have their own restrooms. We watched the Happiest Celebration On Earth video in there (even though we've watched it hundreds of times before hand to get ready for a fun trip) It was pretty nice and relaxing.

Can AAA members who do not book through AAA use this lounge or do you need the coupon to get in? Also, does anyone know where it is in Tomorrow Land? :confused3

In the middle of the day, if I want a rest of an hour or so, I leave the park, get on the monorail (there's hardly anyone on the monorail in the middle of the day, so it's easy to get a seat), then just ride around listening to the speil. If I want, at some point, I'll just get off at the next stop, whichever hotel it is, and sit in the lobby or lounge for a while.

I think the TTA is the best place to rest. Just sit back and enjoy the breeze. It's also very pretty at night to see everything lit up.

People Mover is a great place to relax I think!! :thumbsup2
