Hi
As the weather getting warm this weekend, what places or outdoor event would you recommend to go ?

I live in North Toronto and have 13 months old baby

Thanks

Spend a day walking around the Beaches neighbourhood in Toronto.
Queen Street and the boardwalk are very nice during pleasant weather.

Shhhh, if you keep this a secret I'll tell you... our favorite place in the city is the grounds at Spadina house. I have been going there since I was a baby and the last remain Austin still lived there. They have beautiful gardens and tons of land to sit and have a picnic. All free unless you want a ticket to check out the house. Very quiet and usually very few people.

I second the Beaches. And not just because I live here.

Great parks, great boardwalk and great restaurants. O.k. fine, we don't have great restaurants but The Green Eggplant is quite good with good service too. Licks hamburgers are the best. Stay away from Whitlocks and Lion on the Beach. Overpriced garbage.

If you are there in the morning the Sunset Grill is where we go for breakfast when we don't want to cook and want cheap, fast, good food including crisp bacon and eggs benedict.

If you are a shopper there are two excellent baby clothing stores, one being Babes in the Beach on the south side of Queen and the other, which is a new store but excellent...can't remember the name but it is on the north side of Queen not far past Woodbine- gorgeous baby clothes for reasonable prices. Always a sale there as well.

Kids at Home, also along Queen St. has the best kids furniture and accessories if you have money to spend (or if you don't have money to spend but don't let that stop you, ahem).

I am north Toronto too - have you been to PUCKS Farm? It's cheap (there is usually a coupon you can print online) and cute and you can pretty much do it all in a few hours and then get baby home for nap.

Last weekend we stocked up on bubbles and sidewalk chalk and skipping ropes so DD'sand I are gong to play on the driveway today enjoying spring.
