HI! I am new to this board, and am feeling overwhelmed, but completely happy that I'm not alone in this!!! We are planning our next trip for July '07, and have 2 girls, who will be 5 and 2, and will be staying at The Grand Floridian. A friend has suggested several dining opportunities, but I would like your input. She suggests Chef Mickey for Breakfast, The Polynisian for the Luau, and for O'Hana (Lilo & Stitch). Also, she mentioned 1900 for dinner, and The California Grill at the Contemporary so that we can go back and view the fireworks. Are there any other Character dining suggestions that you have?(Princesses are a plus).
Thanks!!! Shannon

IMHO Ca Grille is overrated, I'd skip it with the kids. We dont like to eat outside in the heat of the summer, so we skip the luau too.

We love love love the Hoop Dee Doo Revue.

The best charactures, we have found at the gang at Liberty Tree Tavern in MK.

Great times can always be had at Wispering Canyon @WL, which is a great resort to visit.

Best buffet for breakfast is at Crystal Palace, in MK and for dinner we like Cape May Cafe for the seafood buffet.

Mama Melrose is the best to do the Fantasmic Dinner Package with.

I'd skip 1900 Park fare if you can get Cinderella's Royal Table or the Princess Storybook breakfast. The food is mediocre at 1900PF, but acceptable if the other two are booked up.

We're seeing Lilo and Stitch, this weekend, I'll report back.

http://allearsnet.com/din/cb.htm maybe this site will help you!!! I've booked a diner at Crystal Palace, because it's my favorite place and also I'm going to try 1900 Park Fare for breakfast with Alice and the mad Hatter and Mary Poppins... I've read good reviews on that one... also on the site that I gave you... they have reviews on all the restaurants in WDW... it's a good site... have fun researching. :thumbsup2

Thanks to both of you. I will check out the website and get more info. Stacey, have a great time this weekend! Shannon

Ok I'm back to weigh in on Lilo and Stitch. We had breakfast at Ohana's with lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto. A good time was had by all. Though we all over did it by way of eating...stuffed city. I'd give it a thumbs up.
