starting to do some planning for our trip in march :cool1: and looking at the best places to eat lunches and teas with a 2 year old (not too expensive). we've been looking into annettes, planet hollywood, king ludwigs, cafe mickey etc. anywhere allow kids under 3 to eat free, and what do they offer?

Children under 3 eat free at all the buffets. If you look at the menus on DLRP Magic it'll give you an idea of where you'd like to eat. If your little one doesn't have a huge appetite you can keep costs down by sharing some of your plate ie Cafe Mickey is a good place to do this by sharing a pizza although people have been coming back recently saying that they haven't been charged for their little ones at some of the table service restaurants. This does seem to be a bit hit and miss though (maybe it's at the discretion of the manager) so be prepared to pay ..... and hopefully you won't have to!

Hello,

We are going on our 4th trip we DD next week she will be 21 months. We have eaten at Auberge, Inventions and Cafe Mickey with her and she has ate for free in all 3.

Cafe Mickey we ordered of the childrens menu entree, desert and drink in souvenir cup
Auberge was just entree there was water on the table though that we just filled her sippy cup up with it.

Inventions - Like PP said buffets are fine just pick a bit for them there is so much choice. She also ordered a drink at no charge.

We also ate at Cow boy cook out that is a quick service she was offered a portions of wedges but I said no as we had so much food she just had some of ours she did have 2 cartoons of Orange juice as well with no charge.

All we did was ask if they have menus for under 3's they then explain that you order for them at no charge.

We ate in Cafe Mickey twice last week and were charged both times for a main meal for the 19 month old in our party. We did ask about what we could do as he is under 3 and the menu was for over 3s and we were told that he could have baby food but that was it. Hopefully you'll have better luck that we did :)
