We have just booked to stay here next year, early May. Soooooo excited, we booked through VS and was really pleased with the price they gave us. I only found out about BC through this forum and as Im in the UK, no one here has heard of them, so I want to say a big thank you for every one who has posted reviews etc, it has been a massive help to me.
So on to my question, we are not hiring a car, just using shuttles to the parks, and mostly planning to eat there, but we would like to eat off site sometimes, so does anyone have any recommendations for places no too far from BC? We like all food! but want to know if poss aprox costs of taxis as well getting there:flower3:

there are not many places to eat in walking distance of WBC. I think it will be cheaper to rent a car than take a taxi each time.

Besides the restaurants at the Wyndham Grande Hotel located on the same property, and of course, the pool bars.... The only other place you can walk to from the Wyndham Bonnet Creek would be the Hilton/Waldorf hotel across the street. (The Waldorf has a Great Steak restaurant for example).

There are also a few places who will deliver to the resort... mostly pizza places though.

Beyond that, You ARE in the middle of Disney Property, so you would have all the Disney Resorts and Downtown Disney available which you can eat at. If you are relying on the WBC shuttle and Taxi's, You could use the Bonnet Creek shuttle to get you to the parks and then transfer to WDW's transportation system to get you around the Disney property to whatever resort or location you would like to eat at.

Outside of the Disney Property, There are a few places over by the Crossroads Shopping Center which is across 535 from the DTD entrance to the Disney Property. I believe there is even a sidewalk if you wanted to walk down past the DTD hotels from DTD to the Crossroads shopping center.

Without having a car, Your options are going to be limited without taking and paying for a taxi. however, if you are willing to cook, since your unit at WBC has a kitchen, you could always arrange a grocery run or grocery delivery and just make stuff to eat in the unit.

Thank you, I am planning on eating at most of the resorts while we are there, but hubby has said he doesnt want to eat at disney all the time. Crossroads looks ideal. Is there anywhere that tells you what restaurants are here?
