Placeholder extension past September 2022?

I know that Disney has currently extended the use of placeholders to September 2022....any word on whether they will extend that any further? We booked a placeholder on the last day of our cruise, February 1, 2020. Obviously we didn't book a cruise immediately when we got home and things were shut down shortly after that. With cruises resuming in August and the placeholder expiring September 2022, that realistically only gives us 13 months to use our placeholder, we'll say 14 if you count the month immediately after we booked it, instead of the normal 24 months. We already have a cruise booked for November 2022 that we would love to use the placeholder on if they extend it out any further, but I haven't heard any mention of this, nor has our travel agent.

I called last week about this. Was trying to get them to spill them beans about fall EBPC next year. Would trade my B2B next April for that. The person I talked to was pretty adamant about that being a hard date. YMMV.

I spoke with DCL yesterday. Hard date in place for September 2022 - she explained the boats are sailing so individuals have the opportunity to sail.

I just wanted to come back and update this thread. 2 years ago yesterday was the day we bought our placeholder and I was notified by my travel agent this morning that DCL went ahead and canceled and refunded our placeholder since we didnt' book a cruise with it. We do have a cruise booked for November 2022 that I was hoping they would be able to apply the placeholder to but they did not allow us to.

Anecdotally, I have one currently attached to a Nov 2022 sailing. We booked it back in June, but my 2 yr mark isn't for a few more weeks. We'll see what happens then.

My June 20 wish cruise was booked with an Futurw credit. Was just advised by TA that it will still expire 9/22

It isn't possible under the official rules. I can only assume some CM screwed up when booking the November cruise and the pp got lucky, or there were some extenuating services and guest services decided to give a one-time override to the expiration date. But for the rest of us, DCL is still holding firm on a Sept. 22 expiration.
