Placeholder booked onboard...can it be moved more than once?

I booked a place holder this May (2016) and was originally going to use it for Nov 2017. We are now considering using it for spring break of either 2017 or 2018. Its still in a place holder spot. If we move it to March 2017 and we change our mind to March 2018, can I do that? can I move it again? I can't remember if it had a limited number of times it could be moved.....

Yes, confirmed with a DCL representative on the phone. I transferred our placeholder to a 2017 cruise to get an elusive 8A stateroom category but may move it once the 2018 dates are out.
