Place to watch football?

Hello all: We will be in DLR Dec 21-25 and our college team is playing in a (crappy, hahaha) bowl game Dec 23 evening. We used to watch football at ESPN, but that is gone, so where else might we have food and watch the game? We could go off site too maybe... we are staying on Katella. Thanks for any suggestions!

There some TVs at Craftsman Bar, but you’d need to get bar seating which could be tricky depending on the size of your party.

Maybe they would turn on a game at Splitsville in DTD, but I can’t say for sure exactly what the TV setup is there off the top of my head.

Otherwise, I think off property is your next best bet.

They used to turn on games at the Steakhouse 55 Lounge (RIP), and for big games would bring TVs into Hearthstone Lounge. But neither of those are options now.

Watched game 7 of the 2004 ALCS (Red Sox vs Yankees) at the ESPN Zone. It was like being at the game it was so rowdy. Lots of Sox fans, lots of Yankees fans. It was a great venue.

Ballast Point and Splitsville both do walkups. DD and I did walkup for both in September.

Splitsville is a great place, if it is crowded downstairs they have a secret bar upstairs. But it is expensive, a beer is like $14. Another good place nearby is Stadium Brewery across from honda arena
