What resorts can fit 5 people in one room (with out being a DVC). I know the POR can but I'm not sure if others can. Are there suits that do this? Thanks for any info you can give!

WE have the same problem with 5. Most of the hotels have suites but they are $$$$. We have stayed at, YC, POR, Poly, from what we have been told is that CB also sleeps five.

Like to hear from others.

POR, the Poly, Wilderness Cabins. We'll be staying at POR in a few months, and I'm anxious to check it out.

I have stayed in a few of the suites at WDW (GF, YC, AKL) and have photos of some of them in my on-line photo albums: click here. I have also stayed in various villas at the DVC resorts. I have loved all of the suites and villas that I have stayed in. If you want more info, just let me know.

I have also stayed in almost every single one of the Disney resorts. I've loved 'em all. I have not had the chance, however, to stay at Fort Wilderness in a cabin. That is very high on my list. I am told the cabins can sleep up to six people. CLICK HERE TO VIEW A FW VIDEO. If you view that video, you will see a glimpse of a cabin. It looks lovely.

We had five (two adults, one teen, & two kids) at Contemporary in June, '04. Worked great for us.

If you're looking for a standard room I think the following resorts can accommodate you:

No Values

Moderate - only POR - don't forget trundle is for a child, not an adult (unless they've added trundles to others recently)

Deluxes
CR
Poly
GF
BC
YC
BW

BC/YC/BW - I don't think all rooms can accommodate you, you must indicate at time of reservation so you make sure you get a room with a day bed.

Also, FW cabins might be in same price range as some of the deluxe rooms.

AKL & WL have deluxe rooms that sleep five

Two rooms at a moderate are usually cheaper than 1 deluxe room. This way you get 4 beds, 2 baths, 2 tvs and 2 fridges.

If you have someone in your party who is military (active or reserve or retired), the rooms at shades of green are huge and handle 5 easily.
