For evening EMH, does anyone put their little ones in PJs?

I'm considering this the one evening we attend the Playhouse Disney Party from 10pm to 1am. They have cute Disney summer PJs that could pass as an outfit :)

Just thought it would be convenient since we'll only be staying an hour and I know they will pass out on the bus ride back to the resort.

I don't know that I ever seen any other child wearing PJ's at WDW - but only because I am so absorbed in my own children! :lmao: Seriously - if it makes your life easier, go for it! Nobody pays attention to other people unless their toes are being stepped on... J/K Well, maybe I am being a bit optimistic, but I would hope that other parents aren't at WDW to pass judgment on what other families have decided to wear.

I don't think I have seen kids in PJs at the EMH's. I know in the summertime it is so hot, DD won't sleep in sweaty clothes-so she gets a quick shower when we get back to the room and slipped into jammies and into bed.

Our last trip in August they were 5 and 2 and we didn't have to because the big one sleeps like a rock so we could play dress up with him and he wouldn't notice. And the little one wouldn't fall asleep until he's in his bed, so it was easier to keep them in their clothes so we could shower or wipe them down before bed depending on how late it was. But all our prior trips we definitely did pjs at night!!!

What is the Playhouse Disney Party? When is it offered? Details please......

On Wednesday nights from 10pm to 1am during Extra Magic Hours inside the Playhouse theater there is a dance party with all the Playhouse Disney stars (Mickey & Gang, Little Einsteins, etc...) There is a DJ, balloon artist, bubbles, etc..

I forgot about the weather and it being hot out in June!!! :rotfl: Yeah, after a dance party they're going to be sweaty and need (as my DS4 says referring to Thomas the Train) "a washdown" :goodvibes

Oh well, I thought it was a good idea at the time :goodvibes

My DW always put them in the backpack for our DD - but NEVER used them. By the time we would get back to the room - despite sleeping on the bus, boat or monorail, or a combination - she would WAKE UP and then be wired for a good half hour or more... which was more than enough time to then get her dressed for bed.

I think PJs at EMH are an awesome idea!! As long as the kids are comfortable with it. Some kids might love the idea of walking around WDW in pjs and others might feel a little self conscious.

I don't think it would be a problem. Or you could just let them sleep in the clothes they fall asleep in (maybe put clean ones on at 8 or 9pm)...there's no penalty for sleeping in shorts and t-shirt ;)
