Pizzeria Uno delivery

Hi there,

We are HUGE Pizzeria Uno fans, but will not have a car this trip. Does anyone know if Pizzeria Uno can/will deliver to BLT?

We are huge Uno fans as well. I don't think the nearby Uno's delivers; however, I've read here on the boards that there's a Giordano's in the area that does. They are one of the original Chicago deep dish pizza establishments. DH thinks they're better than Uno, but I'm not sure. I've only eaten at the original location in Chicago once, so I don't have much to go on.

If you were feeling adventurous, you could take a bus to DTD and walk to the Uno location at Crossroads shopping center. That's actually not a bad idea...I could always use a brisk walk after eating there.

Debonna - Thanks so much for the reply. I guess we'll just have to go without our Uno's! Ack. Well, actually, DMIL lives in the area and is coming over for a couple of days. Maybe DH can steal her car for a little while and go get some. Hmmm... Not a bad idea!

P.S. I was on the College Program, too! Worked in merchandise at the Studios and lived at Vista Way. Our apt. building was brand new when we moved into it in the Fall of 1990.

it is a very nice walk. sidewalks all the way. it is about a mile there.

Pizzeria Uno/Uno Chicago Grill are really just sit down restaurants that also serve pizza. They have everything from steak, to pasta, to fish and chips. They aren't really a pizza place that would deliver like you would expect from Pizza Hut.

I second the nod for Giordano's. Far better than Uno IMO. Neither compare to the real thing in Chicago, but Giordano's is closer to the real likeness than Uno Chicago Grill is. Uno is a national (or close to national) chain that has lost it's roots. Giordano's is in very few locations outside of Chicago (I think only Orlando and maybe Tampa). They haven't watered down their product like Uno has.

We had Uno's in October, we we're told they will deliver only to the downtown Disney hotels across from the Crossroads. We ended up picking it up since we had the car, but Giordano's does deliver and is the same as back here in Chicago.

We were staying at AKV in October and saw a Pizzeria Uno delivery car in the valet parking area when we were walking to the pool. The reason I remember is because I thought about the really bad Disney pizza we had delivered at another resort and wondered to myself why we never thought to order from them.

Even if they do deliver to Bay Lake Tower how would the delivery person get to your room, because you need to insert your KTTW card before going into the main entrance.

Honestly, Giordano's is the best pizza I've ever had. Give them a try!
