I just wonder if anyone who just recently been to DLP manage to eat there or saw this open as I remember reading its going to open again...

tia:drinking1

We were hoping to have lunch there last Thursday, but it was closed when we went by :sad2:, but remember it being open earlier in the week (but we had had lunch that day). Wish DLP would include restaurant opening days & times in the programme leaflet - have said this in a survey they emailed me today.

thanks for your replay... shame you didnt mange to eat there... I think I will ask when checking in , if they know the opening days for when we are there in December

We went past pizza planet one day during the weekend and it had a sign saying it was closed!

I think you can find out open days/times for restaurants at city hall, but l forgot to check one of our days & on a day l did remember it was really busy, so didn't bother waiting.

My friend at work went last week and he said the only day he found it open was Saturday. He really wasn't impressed with the pizza though... apparently the pasta was ok though...

we were there 2 weeks ago, and managed to eat there on the Tuesday and Wednesday, but sadly it was closed on the Thursday.
3 different kinds of pizza, 2 different pastas, with 2 different sauces, salad bar, desert bar. And the fizzy soda was also unlimited too. You can also get bottles of water in with the price of your meal too, but you have to ask the cast member at the desert bar for water.
We really enjoyed it there, Cheapest buffet ive seen in Disney. Im a big lover of pizza and pasta anyways so it was fab for me, but its not for everyone.
The play area is cool, but I do say its mostly for younger children and how cool it looks, theres really not much to do in the play area other than climb and go down a slide. but its a cool place and I would eat there again for sure.
Its just a shame its a bit far out really, its seems like in a odd place to be, but that is an advantage as it was busy but not too busy, never any waiting in lines etc, could just grab some food and enjoy the toy story theming.

that's good to hear you mange to eat there Donald Duck wife:) just wonder if they are open on specific days ie Tue/Wed and then closed on Thurs/Sat

if anyone else just been or going soon , can you have a look for me...pretty please:flower3: we are Sun-Thur so hope we can dine there at least one...

TIA

hope you dont mind me bumping this thread but just wonder if anyone mange to it there recently or if you are going soon can you have a look if its open...

many thanks...

We did!!! Wasn't toooo busy but oh dear. We were disappointed (as usual). Was a real shame as they didn't replenish the food often, the dessetts were few and far between but the bottomless drinks were a bonus. However, if you want water, they take the lid off and throw it away! We won't be going back again, the best thing was the salad but the actual pizza was to put it mildly, gross.

We ate there in half term, Wednesday 30th at around 1.30, 2.00pm - but it was open until 7pm so I dont think there was a good excuse for how dire it was at that time of day :(
The play area is not very big when you have a bunch of children climbing, but our 9 year okd found someone to play with and was quite happy. Lots of space to run around in though :) I'm not sure if it will be particularly warm in Winter?? Though we found it worked well with a fast pass for Buzz then off to eat :)

WOW it seems that place has not changed in the past 5 years. We last went there in 08 and god the food was awful, pizza was dry and burnt rubbish all over the place. Although it did not spoil our Disney experience it certainly didn't enhance it..lol.

I did hear a while back that it was being touted to be torn down and turned into a star wars themed restaurant. Don't know though if that is still in the pipeline.
