Hi again. We have booked to have a tea party at 5pm which we have been told is now at Buzz Lightyear's Pizza Planet, but having read the reviews of food etc I'm now worried we've made the wrong choice. Has anyone been to the tea party since it has moved venues? Would you recommend it or not? Is it worth it just for the characters? Is there savoury as well as sweet food? Sorry loads of questions - if someone can answer any of them then i'd really appreciate it :o) I did try to search the forum but couldn't find any results. Many thanks.

Search only provides limited facilities (see technical board for extensive thread) so is not the best way to find information.

A poster recently posted their experiences so it may have dropped down a page or so on the board :)

Hi

We went to the tea party at Pizza Planet last Friday. It was our first trip to Disney so obviously we had nothing to compare it too but we enjoyed the tea party.

There was no savoury food but there was plenty of choice of sweet food, cookies, muffins, chocolate mouse, waffles, yogurt, sweets, lollies, etc. It also states you can have 1 hot and 1 cold drink each but the drinks were freely available to nobody was checking how much anyone was having. It was all well stocked too.

The characters were Buzz, Woody and Jesse and my girls really enjoyed having them come to the table. It wasn't hugely busy so everyone seemed happy to wait for the characters to come to them and there was no scrum.

All in all we enjoyed it and would do it again - but like I said we have no previous experience to compare it too.

Good luck and I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks very much for posting. You have put my mind at rest as I was starting to panic! It will be our first visit too and kids can't wait.

So is it a cheaper price than the other tea party then as at Plaza Gardens you got savory as well as sweet?

hmmmm - im not sure about it bein all sweet stuff - i know were on hols, but surely a bit of savoury wud be a good plan???? might phone up and ask and see if they know - *** ds1 was lookin forward to the sausages :rotfl:
