Pizza outside WDW

Another vote for Giordano's. Also, restaurant . com almost always has sales, we've gotten $25 and $50 gift certificates for $2 and $3.

Just got the $25 for $2. We love stuffed pizza and have eater here before and Uno. Love both.:surfweb:

An unverified different idea -- my friend from WNY who has lived in Orlando for a long time likes Rossi Pizza. I have not had a chance to ever check it out, and I don't even know where it is. She said it's the closest to our hometown WNY pizza favorite (so that's WNY - you remember us - way over on the other side of the state - not NYC)!

BJ's Brewhouse at the Loop shopping center (Osceola Parkway just before John Young Parkway) has surprisingly good deep dish pizza, but they don't delivery. It's good if you do a pick up or feeling like a leisurely meal eating in. It's supposed to be Chicago style, and while it's not 100 percent authentic it's actually pretty darned good, especially the crust.

My hubby and daughter claim that Whole Foods Market make the best pizza around....most especially the "cheeseburger pizza"!
We stayed in at the Hilton Bonnet Creek this past July and ate there quite often:
8003 Turkey Lake Rd.

I don't know about the best pizza but when we stayed at Windsor Palms we ordered from Bella Pizza (or something like that) because we found the menu at our door.

It took over 2 hours for the delivery and it was the worst pizza ever! :headache:

I much would have preferred papa john's

Those flyer coupons are a big problem in Orlando. They break the law by distributing the, they are often unlicensed and an expose in the paper found some operating out of filthy garages or worse andthey have been used as fronts for thieves or worse. Best to avoid them!

If if doesn't say in the Bible, it doesn't say. You may as well ask what kind of cereal Spiderman likes.

CiCi's pizza is the best pizza place in Orlando. The one with the crappy blue waterfall.

You pay at the door and eat and drink as much as you want. This cicis is on Irlo Bronson heading West from the main enterance to WDW.

CiCi's really???? We got one here where we live about a year ago.. We tried it because I had heard of them.. BUT, the pizza was the worst pizza I have ever had.. We have never gone back... Maybe, we have a bad one??? I've been afraid to try any others..

ALL CiCi's are bad. JMO, of course, but just about any other pizza place in Orlando would be better.

Cici's IS fresh, and they will make anything (virtually) you want if you ask. But is it top of the line, gourmet pizza? No way. Closer to an excellent frozen pizza (if that existed) at a good price for all you can stand.

If you want value for the dollar Cici's is better than 90% of the food served inside any Disney park but it will never be confused with Uno's or Giordano's or any other well known pizza place. Kids like it - I can tolerate it, but if I want a great pizza it's Giordano's or Antony's Coal Fired at Turkey Lake (by Whole Foods) - the best thin pizza in the Orlando area.

So far we have tried Bruno's, Flippers, NYPD on Universal Blvd., and Papa John's in Reunion. I think our favorite is still Papa John's but we really enjoyed NYPD. I think we prefer the thicker crust and that's probably why we like Papa John's.

Anyone know of any "real" NY pizza around? Flippers is close but not quite KWIM?

A place called New York Pizza. It even has a Statue of Liberty out front. Dh is from New York and this pizza is just like the village pizza there!

That's the one recommended by the podcast crew - someone else above mentioned it too (oh right above your post, actually).

Thanks for the info. And hear I thought I would be getting some good local pizza. I won't do that again. If I am not sure I'll just go with a big name.
