If you like Chicago Deep Dish, this is the place. I've had them deliver to Saratoga Springs before, but it's been a couple of years.

This gets my vote too.

They also have a thin crust that is pretty good (if thin crust is your thing)

I agree with the last two posters. Giordano's may be the best deep dish there is anywhere, not just the best deep dish that delivers to the property. As you may have guessed, they are from Chicago (but your pie will be delivered from the Orlando Apopka-Vineland location ;-).

I'm pretty sure they still deliver.

I think they don't have a "Carry out/Delivery" link because that location doesn't accept online orders.

Hello,

Does anyone have the names of Pizza places or any other resturants that will deliver to the AKL? We will be back in March staying in the hotel (a few months shy from staying at AKV).

I will have 5 kids with me and I just don't feel like renting a car this time and heading over to International Drive. No offense to the Disney resturants but they start to get old and expensive with kids. Yes we have our few favorites but if we can get Pizza a few nights or something else, that would be great. We have used GardenGrocer.com a few times also for the snack foods, soda and water.

Any suggestions will be appreciated. BP

Pizza Hut on Apopka Vineland. It's right off Hotel Plaza Blvd. We were at OKW in Nov and ordered 4 med Pizzas and gave him a 7 dollar tip and it was still cheaper and 10 times better than any counter service for 2 adults and we ate off it all week.

Giordano's is really good and we have ordered from Pizza Hut on Apopka Vineland and they are really good. They deliver to WDW too. They were at our OKW door in no time.

They make pizza's down in Mara, the quick service restaurant at AKL. I saw pizza boxes too when we were there too, so you may be able to get pizzas from there.

Wow...I had never thought about outside the resort pizza. We got WDW pizza deliver 2 years ago and I thought it was awful. Anyone ever have deliver to POR? Our first time staying there... so excited!

You definitely can get pizza from Mara. And it's pretty darn good too. The same pizza is on the room service menu but it's much cheaper (and faster) to go down yourself and get it. Off site pizza might be a bit less expensive but when you factor in the time and tip plus maybe a delivery charge, walking to Mara might be a lot simpler and cost about the same.

I vote for Giordano's also. We always do one pizza night at the hotel and that is where we always get it from. It is so yummy!!! I know Giordano's delivers to AKL and OKW.

Many people on the Orlando board recommend Flippers? I have never eaten it myself, so can't say.

I think Flippers is just okay. Go with Girodano's if you want a more memorable pie.
