Pizza Delivery

We are arriving on 10/10 on a late flight. The last time my DD and I took this flight we arrived at the SSR close to midnight via ME. We were starving and Artists Pallette is completely closed. Has anyone ordered pizza from outside WDW this late at night? I thought I could call as we get on the bus and have it delivered shortly after we arrive.

I would just grab something to eat at the airport before you get on ME.

Depends what "this late at night means." Papa John's delivers right to your "Home" at SSR and OKW. At some of the other resorts they meet you in the lobby.

This is why I thought it would be better to get something at the airport. If OP orders before getting on the ME bus, she won't know where her room is and the pizza could arrive before she does.

We ordered from Pizza Hut a couple of times last year and they sometimes made us call from the room phone (not our cell-when we were on the way to the room). I guess they want to prevent the driver from waiting. AND they definitely want a room number.

FYI, To me, the best (The best Chicago style pizza in Chicago and perhaps anywhere in the USA) is Giordano's:

Unfortuately, I only have SSR experience from this summer (Wish I knew years ago!). If no one else answers, I'll eventually have to call about AKV..

Unfortunately and seriously, I do not know about any world-renowned NY-style near WDW. And I'm sure it is no consolation that the Times is one of the reviews that stated "Giordano's is the best Chicago style pizza in Chicago"

I was suprised, last year, that BWV room service Pizza was actually quite decent and edible, unlike the other swill WDW attempts to sell as Pizza in the parks (Baked in Spoodles brick oven, I believe.) It (BWV) was somewhat similiar to a Papa John's style, thinner non-crispy crust, with bubbly edges.

I disagree! Flippers in Crossroads shopping center has great pizza and they will deliver! We ate there twice the last week of August.

We ordered pizza at OKW this past summer and I thought it was horrible. I am not sure where it came from............but it was not worth it.

We ordered from Papa John's in LBV on Thursday at SSR. Delivered right to our door in about 45min.

I don't think anything in the airport will be open, two weeks ago my flight landed a little after 11 pm and everything in the airport was closed.
