From what off-property establishments can one order pizza delivery to the Poly? Is there anyone at DTD that delivers pizza to the Poly?

Thanks DISers!

there's a thread about this on the Restaurant board:

Looks like your best choices are Flippers and Giordano's.

I have to say that we love the flatbread pizza at Captain Cooks, so have never ordered from offsite....but if Flippers is "amazing!" maybe we should try it! :goodvibes

We ad a cabana one day while at the Poly and ordered from PaPa John's... We had to meet them in the lobby.

Another Flippers lover here. I'm pining for it as I type!:guilty: When you call, there is one listed in the phonebook that says "Disney", but when I called the gal on the phone said she didn't thinf any of the locations delivered to the AKL (which is where we were at the time). Just for future reference and anyone that's reading and wondering, they do. I called the Kilimanjaro Club desk and they connected us to one right away. Not sure which one it was, but they do, don't let the teenager on the phone tell you otherwise. ;)

OHHH I want a Flippers right now! (tried Giordano's, weren't impressed)

Whatever you do, don't order from a flier that was slipped under your door ;) by Disney rules, they must deliver to the lobby. If anyone offers to deliver to your room it should raise a flag.

I love Flipper's too. Now I'm craving it.. Yummo!

I hate to burst a bubble here but being from Chicago there is no good pizza anywhere in the state of Florida. Beware!

Sorry, not a fan of that style. Give me a NY pizza any day! :stir::duck:;)

Still, l love Flippers! :thumbsup2

Haha! Have you had pizza in Chicago, or Chicago style pizza elsewhere? There is a difference.

Sorry to hijack this thread but this is far to serious to not address.

Chicago has the best pizza. Simply put. But I am a pizza elitist. ;)
Where did you have pizza? Papa johns or pizza hut, if so then I can understand your dislike. But if you had ginos or UNOs, then that would be very confusing! Not like Chicago pizza??? Do these kind of people really exist?

By the way...we were in Duluth this summer, and stayed in canal park...what a nice city with nice people!

Yeah, I would't say Papa J's or any national chain like that is indicative of anything. ;) I can't remember the places my colleagues took me to while there several years ago on a few separate visits. They insisted I have awesome pizza in Chicago. But it just didn't do it for me and I've had Unos and just, not a fan. But the Chicago/NY pizza rivalry lives on. I'm just not for the crusts and sauce.

It's true, we do exist!
