Hi everyone. What pizza chains are nearby who deliver on site (AoA)? If you happen to know the direct phone number of that location you get even more gold stars!! I know the rule not to ever call from a flyer. I just can't justify an expensive pizza from the hotel kitchen plus a wait time. I want either cheap or fast if we're going that route. Haha thanks.

Also if mentioning an off site name of a non approved business is against the code here I understand. Admin may delete.

One thing is for sure : don't order from the places that slip ads under your hotel room door. They are scams - they take your cc info by phone but don't send the pizza...

Yep. Hence the part in my original post that says "I know the rule not to ever call from a flyer" All set there.

If the pizza prices are the same at AOA as they are at Pop, the pizza costs about $17. I'd just call and order it from the food court (you can get it delivered to the room, or you can pick it up), it will probably be faster than ordering from somewhere off the Disney property, and it won't be any worse than any other pizza I've eaten outside of the metro NY/NJ/CT area.

I will consider that. I just looked up the menus and the prices look ok. If the chains have a delivery fee I can see it being comparable...I just don't want to pay upwards of $30 after tax and tip for a pizza and a side dish that I've never seen/eaten before.

Bear in mind that if you are on a dining plan, you can use meal credits (I think it counts as 2 QS meals, but I'm not sure of the details) for the pizza.

Yeah, we're not on DDP. I am cringing at the thought of an 18% auto gratuity for a meal we have to eat on our laps in our room. I mean, more than a few items and that becomes a pricey pizza dinner.

At least if you walk down to the food court you are saving that gratuity and can sit at a table.

If you do want to order from a delivery place, the standard chains (Domino's, Pizza Hut, Papa John's) deliver. A lot of people have recommended a local(?) place called Flippers, and then there's a Chicago deep dish style chain called Giordano's.

Flippers and Giordanos both are better than Dominos, Papa Johns, Pizza Hut etc. Flippers has a great thin crust and Giordanos has fantastic deep dish stuffed pizza. We always get one or the other when we are at the world. Going with Giordanos next week.

We always order pizzas from dominos when staying onsite. My guys will eat cold pizza for breakfast too. Dominos has an app that will GPS your location and show you the closest location to order from. Then you can either order online or call the store for a delivery order. You have to meet the driver in the lobby of the resort to get your pizzas. I am sure the other pizza places have the same general guidelines as dominos, but that has been our only delivery pizza experience while staying at POFQ, POR and CBR.

From a previous thread a few months back, I made note of 4 pizza places that deliver to WDW resorts:

Giordano's 407-397-0044
Flipper's 407-938-9633
Pizza Hut 866-438-2507
Papa John's 352-243-1800

I've tried Flipper's and that location of Pizza Hut, and the pizzas were pretty good. Hoping to try Giordano's next time around.

OFF-SITE PIZZA DELIVERY (until about 3:00am):
1) Giordano’s, 407-397-0044
2) Pizza Hut, 866-438-2507
3) Papa John’s, 352-243-1800
4) Flipper's Pizza, 407-938-9633 (Best in our opinion)

NOTE1:
. . . At Deluxe Resorts, FW, delivered to Front Desk or Bellmen.
. . . At other resorts, delivered usually to your room.
. . . At DVC resorts, the delivered almost always to your room.

NOTE2:
. . . WDW is so large, that there are different pizza franchisees of the same brandname that serve different hotels.
. . . Just call the pizza numbers listed, and they transfer you to the proper franchisee's number.
. . . example: AKL and FW have different Papa John franchisees serving the two resorts

WARNING - DANGER WILL ROBINSON - WARNING:
. . . you might find a pizza "flyer" under your resort room door.
. . . do not under any circumstances call them.
. . . there have been "pizza scams" at local hotels and WDW resorts.
. . . you call, order, give your credit card number
. . . you do not get pizza, but they have your CC number - oops
. . . you find fraudulent charges on you CC later
. . . in the best-case-scenario, you get delivery of a frozen pizza.
