Giordono's pizza - yum.
We like the Super Target. I'm not a huge fan of their grocery section but they have a nice selection of Disney themed "stuff" and we usually pick up souveniers at a fraction of the price of "stuff" in the theme parks.
Last trip I tried the "new" Publix down Old Lake Wilson road and it was a lot further than I though it would be. The other Publix and Super Target have to be closer both mileage and travel time - even in fairly heavy traffic.
You're right, that it is 6 miles to the Publix in Reunion, versus 3 miles to the one on 192. The advantage is only one red light and no major highways. However, my DH reminded me that with the construction on Old Lake Wilson Road (widening the lanes there), probably your best bet is to turn left out of the resort and go to the one on 192, as the decreased speed limit will increase your time to the Reunion Publix.
Without the construction, it was taking us about 8 minutes to get to the Publix in Reunion; it takes us anywhere from 6 minutes to 10 minutes to the Publix on 192. Sometimes, though, because we like Papa John's, we will go to the Reunion Publix, stop in Papa John's order our pizza, then do our shopping (buy salad stuff, easy to make, bags!) and then go back to WH and make a quick salad to go with our pizza. Definitely, more choices though out on 192, with Super Target,
Walmart (a little further), loads of restaurants, etc.
We actually like Bruno's Italian restaurant a lot, very reasonable and decent food, nice family owned restaurant. It is approximately 1/2 mile past the Publix on the left hand side, so have to make a u-turn, first left past McDonald's. They also deliver to Windsor Hills.
