HDD all booked but CM wouldn't take request for veg meal at the time of booking over phone - she said to advise when we got there. What is the best way to do this - at our resort on arrival? Can we specifically request cheese pizza - I read that they will bring mac and cheese for kids - but we are talking for an adult (well a kid who is classed as an adult price in Disney terms)

We went in 2005 with DNiece17 who only eats corn, cheese pizza, and mac/cheese. We told the waiter when we were seated. No problems. Her food came out with ours.

We were at HDD one night when an adult next to us was getting an obvious vegetarian meal. There plate was loaded with veggies, from corn on the cob on. I think all you need to do is mention it to your server once seated.

You have a few options here - once you get down to disney you can either go to the front desk and have them call over to the HDDR box office and have it noted on your reservation OR you can go to the box office and make the request (this only works a few days prior up to a few hours before your show). You can also just let your server know - pretty much anything that is available next door at Trails End is fair game for a substitution. DH and I have gotten mac and cheese and french fries instead of the baked beans and mexicorn (its now corn on the cob I think). We are both adults and have no food allergies or vegetarian requirements and it wasn't a problem to accomodate our request.
