Pizza Anyone??

Since we had pizza for dinner tonight, it made me think. Can we get pizza delivered to the BCV from somewhere other than Disney? If so, where?

We had Pizza Hut delivered at OKW - last summer. In the phone book/yellow pages its the # that says "Disney Area" Took less than 30minutes to arrive! We have not yet stayed at BCV so I am not sure - but I would guess yes.

Every time we are in FL, we HAVE to visit Giordano's. We've been to both the Kissimmee and Lake Buena Vista locations. It is the best stuffed pizza! We have nothing like it in California (at least I haven't found it)! I believe they will deliver to WDW resorts. The last time we were HOME, we found a coupon in a book that was at the car rental place. Here's there number: 407-239-8900. The staff is friendly even though it is really busy. The small size pizza and a salad is enough for two people to share and still have leftovers!

Can we get pizza delivered to the BCV from somewhere other than Disney?

I have read on these boards before that you can, but that you have to meet the delivery guy in the BC lobby. I'll know in about a week...We'll be at the BCV this weekend, and we are planning on ordering pizza one night. I'm leaning toward ordering from Giordano's, but I think Pizza Hut, Domino's, and Papa John's will also deliver there.

In June of 2002, at OKW, we saw the Papa John's delivery person pull up to our building, get out and come up the stairs with the pizza. We remember it because at the time DS was a delivery person for Papa John's back home and we were wondering if he was surprising us. But this one was going next door.

Since you will be right next door I will recommend Tubbi's at the Dolphin. We had a really great pizza at a really good price, and they give DVC discounts if you show your card. You can eat in or they will box it to go. I want to say it was $8.00 and change for a pizza that DH and I split. We are big eaters and it was all we could handle. We have had it several times, and on different trips and it has always been great. We have also had Pizza Hut from the Lake Buena Vista, Apopka-Vineland location and Giordano's from the Apopka-Vineland road location and both those were great too and they both deliver.

In Nov we ordered from Pizza Hut. We were staying at the BWV, they even took coupons (printed from on line) and gift certificates I had earned from the rewards program. We called 407-239-0202
It was really easy -- We had to be in the room when they called to say they were 10 min away, then we walked down and waited by the valet parking.
