I have an extremely picky eater. If I am going to pay the price for a character meal I would like her to eat a bit. Her favorites are pizza and chicken NUGGETS not strips (don't ask me why it makes a difference but trust me it does). We have done Chef Mickey's and Crystal palace in the past. Can you suggest another? My kids are 7 and 10 at travel time.

1900 at the Grand Floridan. Here's what they have.

Children's Corner - chicken nuggets, cheese and macaroni, mini corn dogs, pasta marinara, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, niblet corn, cheese pizza and fresh vegetables

The 1900 menu on All ears is very outdated. They do not have nuggets any more it is regular chicken. They do still have pizza there though. Garden Grill Char Dinner at Epcot has nuggets but no pizza.

Do your children eat well at breakfast? If so, would you consider a character breakfast instead? We just returned from Disney and opted for a character breakfast at Ohana one morning.

Our boys truly enjoyed the food plus the character interaction and parade. Our reservations were a little early, 7:30, but it worked out perfectly. The restaurant wasn't that crowded plus it gave us ample time to arrive at the Magic Kingdom.

The food was very good and my almost 7yo loved the juice. They served bread, biscuits, scrambled eggs, potatoes, Mickey waffles, sausage and bacon. It feels like I'm forgetting something.

We would definitely return to Ohana for breakfast and hope to dine there sometime for dinner too.

Yes she does prefer breakfast food. That is something to consider. This is a squeezed in budget trip and we usually get by with eating breakfast in our room and really only consistently eating dinner out. Thanks for letting me know that 1900 no longer has nuggets. The menu looks good though. Do you know if they still have the prime rib?:confused3

What about making a lunch ADR right before lunch actually starts? They'll have all the breakfast food still out and then it'll switch over to lunch for the not-so-picky-eaters. So you stock up for the picky eaters at the breakfast round and then stock up on the lunch when they switch over? I've heard a bunch of people on here do it. Never tried it though.

1900 Park Fare :thumbsup2 And I know exactly what u mean. When my youngest was little. He would only eat McDonald's and don't dare try anything different cause it didn't work!

My DD and DNiece have the same menu preferences as your DD. This year we are going to Crystal Palace for Dinner and Breakfast at Chef Mickeys and the Storybook Princess Bfast at Akershus in Norway (Epcot). Maybe a combination of breakfasts and lunch/dinners would work for you too.

P.S. Just to warn you, we went to Crystal Palace for breakfast in Nov and my DD was SO excited to see the characters that she didn't eat anything. Good thing there's nuggets and pizza available at numerous counter service areas, lunch was the first real meal for her that day. Good luck and enjoy!

They don't have prime rib or the carved turkey any more. There was some type of cheaper cut of beef and pork loin at the carving station now. I think a lot of the buffets stopped having prime rib a few months ago though.
