wow...the WDW boards are reporting 3 hour waits!

Has anyone been this week and how was the wait? Also, what time does it open?

I haven't mentionned this to DD yet, we cannot wait 2 hours to meet some characters!!!

I actually have not stood in line for this yet. I know others on the boards have, and I hope that they will post a response. We were there the Saturday of the soft opening. We were told an hour wait at that point. Since we were getting ready to leave, we could not justify this wait. I hope that helps.

We went to the soft opening on Monday, and we waited exactly 1 hour... We met Tink, SilverMist and Fawn. They were also filming something in there? It was the weirdest thing! We signed releases stating that it was okay to video/ take pictures of us... I was totally out of my mind by not asking what the heck they were doing, and boy did the photopass person get pissed that the camera people were in all her pics! The camera was so close to my daughters face... :goodvibes Anyone know what was goin on?

Other boards reporting several hour waits. They are only letting a few people in at a time.

Axiom - Yep.

My friend and her family were in line on Tuesday afternoon for an hour (she called me from the line). They met with Tink, Irridessa, and Rosetta. They were very impressed with the girls and thought they did an excellent job.

Her husband's comment was that he was delighted that it was worth the wait, as there was definitely more eye-candy for the daddies! He said that Tink had quite the figure!:rotfl2:

CAn a person just walk through the queue area for the visual experience without WAITING in it to personally see the fairies???

We were there this week but did NOT wait in the 2+hour line on both days we walked by (Tues and Thurs). IT looked like a short walk througha wooded, flowery area and then the fairies were along the way maybe? Not worth the wait IMO, but to others it maybe.

I went on Friday morning. The park opened at 9, and Pixie Hollow opened at 9, so it was perfect! I walked right p and was the first one there. THey were so friendly and great character actors!

I was there on Halloween, we got in line around parade time, so I would say maybe 3ish, the parade doesn't start until 4, we didn't wait longer then an hour, and it went quickly. The girls all did a wonderful job and it was a lot of fun. Very great addition!!!!:goodvibes

Does it always open right at 9? Because that would become my 1st stop as well on our first full day.

tks!

According to the times guide, Pixie Hollow opens daily at 9am. So, on days the park opens at 9am, it is a great first stop. ;)

i also went on halloween but around 2pm.. was an hour wait but worth it.:goodvibes my daughter got to meet them all but rosetta :cutie:

i couldn't see the Fairies until i got into the pixie hollow :upsidedow

Are any of the kids questioning the size? I know you "shrink" when you go through the que but I'm just wondering if I want to put my boys into it if it's going to destroy the illusion. Tink is very special in our family. Our dogs are Petey and Tinker Bell and there is a Hallmark lantern hanging in our living room with Tink inside. I'm wondering if we should skip it when we get there, but to be on the safe side, or if kids are totally buying the shrinking.

no kids questioned or asked... I was prepared to tell my daughter she used pixie dust to get big because we wouldn't be able to see here if she stayed small but she never asked. :goodvibes

We went yesterday. We talked to the CM early in the day and she said the line is shortest the hour before it closes so we went back at 4 and waited about 20 minutes. The 2 pixies before Tink were ADORABLE with our girls (Tink was sweet but the other two were exceptional).

and for the person who asked if you could just walk through for the experience - no, the experience really is about the pixies and as you walk through you wait for the people in front of you to finish before you move forward so you aren't in their pictures.

Well, the CM that works there every day told us Pixie Hollow closed at 5 that day(the park closed at 8) but when we passed by at 5:30 there was still a line...so I have no idea but it was a good time to go

we went yesterday and went there very first and were about 5 back...it was awesome!! I only have a DS3 but we were really there for me :) Anyway, the 2 fairies before tink FLIPPED out over my son and were soooo good and cute with him :) and then Tink, the same thing, I was soooo excited to see Tink!!!
