Hi everyone! I apologize if this has been asked before, but I was wondering if there are any fairies in Pixie Hollow that are hard to catch? Are all of them always inside? I heard the line can be pretty long. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

I believe the only one that is guaranteed is Tinkerbell. When we lined up, a CM came down and told us that due to the fog that morning, the other fairies were having trouble navigating their way in - that only Tinkerbell was present.

However, we waited quite some time (have no idea - maybe 40 mins or so), so by the time we got to the front, Silvermist apparently had found her way and was present as well.

Dd thought I was silly because I told her that she would only see Tinkerbell.

When we were there last January, there was Tinkerbell and one other fairy (Iridessa). Last November, we saw Tinkerbell, Terrance and Iridessa. I see pictures of Silvermist and Fawn, but only once have I seen one of Rosetta. Not sure if she is actually there less often then the others.

We were there for almost 2 weeks in November too, and the fairy we had most trouble catching was definitely Rosetta. We only saw her out once. Silvermist and Fawn were out twice each (one time Fawn was with Terence and Tink, that was cool) and Iridessa four times.

My kids actually wanted to wait i line when we first heard Terrance was in Pixie Hollow, and after a 40 minute wait, he was on break when we got to the front. Bummer!
But the kids got to see Tinkerbell and Fawn.

We were there last weekend and saw Fawn first, then moved on to see Terence with Tink. While we were getting our picture with Terence and Tink, Iridessa came out of the house to replace Fawn. We didn't get a picture with her though because we had already passed that part of the line. We waited about 30 minutes in line.

Hi Vala - It was actually your report I was thinking of where I finally saw a picture of Rosetta! :goodvibes

In November we were told Terence comes out 15 minutes after the hour and stays out for an hour, then takes a break of an hour.

 And I was already wondering if I had missed a picture somewhere.

Vala....we were told the same thing in early December. We waited in line and saw Tink and Silvermist, but no Terrance. He was a must-see for DD. (I think it might be her first crush!) Anyway, I asked the exit (or perhaps the entrance) CM about seeing Terrance, and she pulled out a schedule. She was able to tell me exactly when he should be coming out (at 15 min past the hour) and then he would be there on and off for 60 min. periods. It really helped us....we factored in the wait time and got in line at a time when we would most likely see him. It made the second 30 minute wait very worth it. If you have a must-see fairy, try asking a CM.

Good luck and have a GREAT trip!

Just to warn you though, I had *very* mixed experiences with that. Some cast members that clearly had schedules in their pockets told me they didn't know when which fairy would be there. I mean, I could have understood that if I had had a kid with me or if there had been kids near us, but that was not the case. :confused3

I got an answer from a CM exactly two times - once the Terence answer I posted, and once when I asked about Rosetta for the fourth time.

Does Pixie Hollow open after the park does?

The times are in the guide you pick up at the entrance. I think it's at normal park entrance time or shortly after that.

Have you tried going in the afternooon, sometime near closing time? Were lines more manageable? Or should we go first thing at opening?

If I remember correctly, last weekend Pixie Hollow opened an hour after park opening. I think the park opened at 8 and Pixie Hollow at 9. We went around 10ish and wated 30 minutes. It seemed to me that lines were shorter in the morning. It was definitly longer that afternoon. We didn't look at the line at night, but I did notice from across the way that there were some cool lighting affects going on. The kids were intrigued, but we were heading for other things. Not sure what that was about, but it looked pretty cool so you may want to check it out.

I did not realize that Rosetta was a hard to see fairy! We have only been to Disneyland one time. I made my boys stand in line for about a half hour to see the fairies. They were not happy! Oh well! I will post our picture of Rosetta, if someone will let me know how? Thanks!
